I am featuring The Body Shops’ Vitamin E Hydrating Toner as this weeks’ Friday find challenge by A Dark Word Inside. This little beauty has been a lifesaver for me!
I was so sad when my Clarins alcohol free toner finally ran out. I found this little guy in my The Body Shop advent calendar this year and was absolutely relieved to use it. It works better than I had expected. Especially on aging skin. I’ve been so set on using Higher end facial care products due to a constant influx of ‘meh’ experiences with affordable products.
This one surprised me though. My pores are staying clean and it is not drying out my skin. (A biggie at this point) I guess the ultimate test will come when I go in for my next facial and am thoroughly scrutinized. But I can tell you that this particular toner actually works! Yay!
What’s your favourite toner?
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for sharing! I don’t actually use a toner as I’m terrified about what it’ll do to my skin. This sounds great though, so I think I’ll have to give it a test! X

I understand totally. It’s wise to be cautious. Non alcohol toners are the gentlest, in my opinion 🙂 Keep taking excellent care of that skin!

Well, as a ‘real’ aging skin person, and a man to boot, I finish shaving, dry my skin, slap on some Jergens, look in the mirror at my wrinkles and creases, and think to myself, “wow, those cries eyes sure make me look rugged and masculine”…(LOL)

Rugged & masculine… Nicely put 😀 Still trying to understand the ageing phenomenon that makes men look refined & women, well…not refined. * fighting, kicking & moisturizing 😉

Well, it’s been happening throughout history. As my wife would tell me, “Deal with it!” LOL

Correction: ‘crow’ eyes, not ‘cries’ eyes’
